Selection Method:
- Request Only: You choose specific items
- Reader's Advisory: Staff recommendations based on your preferences
Who Is Eligible?
Permanent Conditions
Any Hamburg Township resident with a permanent condition that prevents safe library visits.
- Mobility limitations
- Chronic health conditions
- Given up driving status
Long-Term Temporary Conditions
Any Hamburg Township resident with a temporary condition lasting at least 6 weeks.
- Surgery recovery
- Extended illness
- Temporary mobility restrictions

Delivery Schedule
Once a month on the first Friday
Items Per Delivery
Up to 15 items — books, magazines, and DVDs
Personal Delivery
Library staff member delivers directly to you
Available Materials
What We Deliver
- Books: Regular & large print editions
- Magazines: Back issues
- Movies (DVD): Entertainment and educational
Hamburg Library materials only - Items must be from our collection
Flexible Check Out Option
You can authorize up to two people to pick up library items on your behalf from the library.
- Select "Flexible Check Out" on your application
- Name two people who can pick up items for you
- They can collect your materials during regular library hours
