House Bill 4583
House Bill 4583 to restrict millage requests to be only on the November ballot. MLA said: “Yes this is on our radar — We’ve been discussing since it first went to committee with our lobbyist and advocacy committee. We are focused on killing this behind the scenes in the senate. Our lobbyist took meetings with House committee leadership and her read was its going to move out of the house, regardless of our formal opposition. But she’s confident we can make sure it’s shutdown in the senate.”
