HAMBURG TOWNSHIP LIBRARY RESOLUTION TO APPROVE FOIA PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES
Meeting Date: June 23, 2015 at 7:00 PM
Present: Andrew Byerly, Sally Crouch, Peg Eibler, Michaelene Farrell, Richelle Hocking, Jim Katakowski

WHEREAS Clauses:
- 1. The Library is a public body as defined by Michigan FOIA (1976 PA 442, as amended)
- 2. Library Board must establish and adopt policies for library operation
- 3. FOIA Section 4(4) requires procedures, guidelines, and written public summary
- 4. Must include standard form for detailed fee itemization
- 5. Board desires compliance with FOIA to charge permitted fees
THEREFORE, the Library Board RESOLVES:
- Adopts Library Procedures and Guidelines (Exhibit A) in compliance with FOIA
- Adopts Written Public Summary (Exhibit B)
- Approves Detailed Itemization Sheet (Exhibit C) with authorization for FOIA Coordinator to modify as needed
- Make documents publicly available - free copies in responses and at library visits
- Post and maintain documents on library website
- Repeals conflicting policies to the extent of such conflict
