Present: Matt Assenmacher, Jodie Colone, Mary Evergreen, Richelle Hocking, Bridgette Rosek, and Crystal Walter.
Absent: None.
Also Present: Holly Hentz and Christine Weber.

This regular meeting of the Hamburg Township Library Board of Trustees was called to order by Colone at 7:00pm in the Patricia Waters Community Room.

Approval of:

• Motion to approve Agenda as presented made by Evergreen; seconded by Hocking. Motion carried.
• Motion to approve the minutes from October 21, 2025 as presented made by Hocking; seconded by Rosek.  Motion carried.

Call to the Public: No speakers.

Financial:

• Motion to approve October Financial Report made by Rosek; seconded by Walter. Motion carried.
• Motion to approve  Voucher #668 in the amount of $84,098.95 made by Evergreen; seconded by Hocking. Motion carried.

Librarian’s Report:
1.  In-house Statistics: Patrons Served: 5,212_; New Patrons: 55; Item Check-outs: 5566; Computer Uses: 149.
2.  Online Statistics: Libby: 3,340; Zinio: 677; Fold3: 5; Heritage Quest: 16; Ancestry: 0; TumbleBooks: 1; Niche Academy: 26.
3.  Other News: Chris Cody is retiring after 20 years.  Job has been posted.

Old Business:
1)  Lisa A. presented edited versions of the logo.  Board members settled on one logo with three edits.  They are also interested in seasonal versions of this logo.  Hentz will communicate with Lisa about the discussion.
2)  Installation of window shades is pending.

New Business:
1)  Hentz distributed the ACH Policy for board review.  To be discussed further at next meeting.
2)  Hentz distributed an addition to the Social Media Policy.  To be discussed further at next meeting.
3)  Board agreed to the Shared Maintenance Agreement with TWP.  Colone will sign and return to Twp. Clerk.
4)  Meeting Room Renovation Project:  Motion to approve Library Design Associates proposal for $93,815.00 to remodel the meeting room made by Walter; seconded by Hocking. Motion carried.
5)  Motion to not renew Ancestry and TumbleBooks and to approve a two year subscription with Business Insider made by Rosek; seconded by Hocking. Motion carried.

Friends Report, Debbie Kooperman reporting:

• Fall Book Sale = $1,1930.05 supported by 32 volunteers contributing 142 total hours!
• Fall Rummage Sale = $3,800 and counting
• Winter Craft Day - 1/24/26 8:30am-7:30pm
• October Gift Shop Sales = $506.60!  WOW!!
• Shelter Pet Kit Assembly done with help from Friends Volunteers!  38 volunteers / 88.5 hours.  80 Toy Kits and 80 Blanket Kits
• Current Membership = 137 Members

Relevant Board Issues:
1) Mary Evergreen will not be attending the December meeting; Colone will handle bills in her absence.
