This regular meeting of the Hamburg Township Library Board of Trustees was called to order by Mary Evergreen at 7:00pm in the Patricia Waters Community Room.

Present: Matt Assenmacher, Jodie Colone, Mary Evergreen, Richelle Hocking, Bridget Rosek, Crystal Walter
Absent: None
Also Present: Holly Hentz, Christine Weber

Approval Of:

• Motion to approve Agenda as presented made by Colone; Seconded by Assenmacher; Motion carried.
• Motion to approve the minutes from May 21, 2024 as presented made by Walter; Seconded by Rosek; Motion carried.

Call to the Public: None present.

Financial:

• Motion to approve May 2024 Financial Report as presented made by Walter; Seconded by Assenmacher; Motion carried.
• Motion to approve Library Voucher #651 in the amount of $89,935.23 made by Mary Evergreen; Seconded by Bridget Rosek; Motion carried.

Librarian’s Report:

• In-house Statistics: 3,472 Patrons Served; 59 New Patrons; 4,867 Item Check-outs; 152 computer uses.
• Online Statistics: 2,932 Libby; 272 Zinio; 6 Fold3; 0 Heritage Quest; 12 TumbleBooks; 12 Niche Academy.
• Other News: SRP Kick-off: 187 signed up the night of the party. 257 in total.

• Hentz gave the summer reading update in the Librarian’s Report.

Friends Report with Debbie Kooperman:

• May Gift Shop Sales = $185.90
• FOHTL Membership had a table at SRP Kick-Off on June 7.
• Approved 50% funding for Adult Program Sponsorships - 10/12 Rag Time Band Revival and 12/7 RJ Spangler Holiday Jazz.
• Annual Meeting/Election scheduled for 9/18/24 at 6:30-7:30pm.
• Open Board Positions - VP, Treasurer, Director of Membership & Member At Large (2) and will try to solicit NEW Director of Public Relations

Relevant Board Issues:

• Meeting Room AC/Furnace replacement quote will be presented at the July meeting.
